HERE AT ALISON WILKINSON PERMANENT COSMETICS WE OFFER A VARIETY OF PERMANENT MAKEUP AND AESTHETIC SKIN TREATMENTS TO SUIT ALL NEEDS.

I am an experienced permanent makeup technician and I am always furthering my experience and techniques by regularly investing in master classes and workshops to advance my technical training. I believe that it is so important in this industry to continually learn and perfect new techniques which can be offered to my clients. Permanent makeup including microblading has developed so much in the last few years that being able to offer a variety of treatments and techniques is an absolute must. I want my clients to feel confident in selecting me as the technician they wish to carry out their treatments. As with all treatments, it is important to evaluate and understand the skin you are about to treat. We all love to follow trends but not all trends suit all clients and so we need to discuss and assess each client individually.

I have in depth medical knowledge including anatomy & physiology, contra-indicatons, dermatology and skin disorders, scarring, medication and medical history together with technical training, colour theory and correction and removal which is essential in carrying out a procedure safety and effectively.

I also have a wealth of experience in offering aesthetic skin treatments from within my studio. These include Microneedling, Skin Peels, Dermaplaning, Radio Frequency Lifting - Tightening and Electroporation and many other bespoke treatments.

In addition to the above, PMU Brow Maintenance treatments to maintain and achieve the perfect brows year round between your annual colour boosts.

I have completed the MASCED - Melanoma and Skin Cancer Early Detection – an Educational Accreditation Programme for Hair, Health and Beauty Industry Professionals. The key objectives of the programme are to increase knowledge of the early signs and symptoms of skin cancer, promote the early detection of melanoma to improve prognosis and save lives and to raise awareness of the importance of sun safety, aiding the prevention of around 86% of all skin cancer cases. I take great pride in becoming a powerful advocate in the fight against the UK’s most common and fastest rising cancer and hope to educate you too!

CONSULTATION

I will initially forward to you a consultation form electronically which I will ask you to complete to the best of your ability. Don’t worry if you are unsure of anything as this will all be discussed when I meet with you in person. A face to face consultation will then be arranged whereby we have an opportunity to discuss your requirements, my advice and the medical history that you provided on the consultation form.

We also discuss your reasons for treatment and your likes and dislikes. This gives me an understanding as to whether you would be suitable for treatment and what treatments we could carry out to meet your expectations. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions you would like answering and we can then discuss what treatment or procedure would suit you best.

Once you have decided on the treatment to proceed with, your appointment will be booked and a small booking fee taken to secure your appointment. Don’t worry if you forget to ask anything during your consultation, I am always on hand to answer any questions you have so just drop me a line and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

PATCH TESTING

Patch testing is carried out for all permanent makeup and PMU Brow Maintenance treatments at least 24-48 hours prior to treatment.

Please note I will not carry out any treatment without an up to date patch test, this is not only to cover myself but to ensure your health and safety during your treatment with me.
